The Value of Reference Sheets

Math is hard. There are always a lot of formulas to learn in order to be successful in the classroom. While I have my own opinions about whether students should be required to memorize formulas, this is not meant to be a discourse on that topic. Instead, let’s focus on the benefits of reference sheets.

If you have worked with me for any period of time, then you are accustomed to seeing a link to a reference sheet in the Zoom chat window during our lesson. These pages typically summarize part or all of the formulas needed for the class you are currently taking.

Reference sheets contain all the necessary information for you, the student, to be successful on your final exams, which are right around the corner! These handy pages are sometimes even referred to as cheat sheets and are designed to be printed out or saved as screen shots and placed next to you while studying.

Finals are approaching and lesson times are filling up fast! Just click on the Schedule tab, select Meet with Matthew, and choose the day and time that works best for you.
